ORDERED TO LEAVE.

NAZI JOURNALISTS IN LONDON. “IMPROPER ACTIVITIES” CHARGED. tUnited Press Association—Copyright.! LONDON, August 6. “The News-Chronicle” says that the Honiei Office refused two correspondents of the Berlin newspaper “Lokafanzeiser,” also a representative of the “Grafreiehschach” news agency, pernnssion to stay in Britain, alleging “improper' activities.” “The News-Chronicle” adds that when the British Government made the original complaint the authorities in Berlin apparently assumed it was journalistic work which was disapproved, but White Hall has now convinced them that the Nazi journalists had been at least indiscreet, and that even espionage was suspected. Their case will presently be the subject of AngloGerman negotiations. The correspondents are Herr Crome, the chief London correspondent of the “Lokal Anzeiger,” Herr Wrede, his colleague, and Herr Langden, the London representative of the “Graf Reichschach,” newspaper service. The “Lokal Anzeiger” is one of the chief Berlin dailies. Herr Crome has been its London correspondent for three years. Herr Wrede has been in London -for two months. Herr Crome told the United Press Association that he had been given a fortnight in which to quit the country. The “News-Chronicle” states that- it is reliably reported that complaints of espionage have been made against them. Herren Wrede and Langden have returned to Germany. Count Reiclisbach lias sent a message to his 15 provincial German clients describing the expulsion as “a provocative and unfriendly act,” hut the official news agency says that Germany respects the English desire that the three men should depart.
