QUEEN’S BIRTHDAY.
GREETINGS ACKNOWLEDGED. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, August 6. The following message from the Queen has been received by the Gover-nor-General (Viscount Galway) in reply to a message sent by his Excellency on the occasion of her Majesty’s birthday:— “Please accept -and convey to the Government and people of New Zealand my grateful thanks for the kind and loyal message on the celebration of my birthdav. “ELIZABETH R.”
