CHORAL SPEAKING.
DEMONSTRATION TO TEACHERS. An interesting demonstration and lecture on “Choral Speaking” was given by Miss Strutters, of Christchurch, to more than 40 members of the Mid-Canterbury branch of the New Zealand Educational Institute in Madden’s tea-rooms, Ashburton, on Wednesday evening. The president of the branch (Mr S. G. Maefarlane) presided. Supper was served at the conclusion.
