THE ’PLANE DISASTER.
DISCOVERY OF WRECKAGE (United Press Association—Copyright.) MONTREAL, August 3. Searching for the Pan-American Airway’s ’piano which was overdue at Cristobel from Chili with 11 passengers and crew of three a naval flier found wreckage, consisting of a fragment of the engine section, 20 miles from Colon breakwater. It came down to the water sud taxied there to the wreckage. It is believed none of the occupants survived, although it is hoped they may have been picked up by other searchers. The passengers included two Attaches in the United States Department of Commercial Aviation, a woman and two children.
