Clements (Old Boys); forwards, R. J. Opie (Temuka), J. McMahon (Old Boys). CANTERBURY BEATS WAIRARAPA MASTERTON, August 4. A converted try on the call of time gave the Canterbury Rugby representatives a. 13-8 win over Wairarapa. Hard and fast though it was, the game lacked colour until well on in the second half, when, with the score eight all, both sides gaye all they had in a determined effort to decide the issue.
