The Christchurch Hunt Club’s meeting was held at Riccarton to-day in fine weather. \The track was firm, and there was a large attendance. Results:— l (1) —Kellv the Crow, 12.9 ' (J. S. Hnzlett) 1 3 (3) —Niglitwind, 11.2 (R. Westenra) 2 5 (5)- —Scotsden, 11.5 (J. Lysaght) 3 All started. Won by four lengths; three lengths between second and third. Time, 4.9. LAWFORD HACK AND' HUNTERS’ STEEPLECHASE, of 130 sovs. About two miles. 4 (4) —Shillelagh Wood, 10.4 l(V. Langford) 1 1 (I)—Tangled, 10.4 (W. J. McDowell) 2 3 (3) —Arctic Star, 10,9 (R. Beale) 3 All started. Won by three lengths; 10 lengths between second and third. Time, 5:16. MAIDEN STAKES, of 100 sovs. Six furlongs*. 4 (4)— -Rockingham, 8.0 (A. Welsh) 1 19 (17) —Moonraker, 8.0 (J. McFarlane) 2 1 (1) —Cocksure, 8.0 (C. Masters) 3 Scratched: Lordship, Valantua, Baldoon, Te Ahuarangi. Won by a length; half a length between secondhand third. Time, 1.151-5. HOMEBY STEEPLECHASE, of 200 sovs. Two miles and a half. 8 (6) —Cock o’ the North, 9.0 (W. Cooper) 1 1 (1) —Nocturnus, 10.3 (C. F. Baker) 2 2 (3) —Streamline, 10.8 (C. Ridgway) 3 Scratched: Manawatu. Won by, a head ; four lengths between second and third. Time, 5.16. CAMLA HACK HANDICAP, of 120 sovs. About six fhrlongs. 8 (7)—Wine Card, 9.2 1 1 (2) —Counterflight, 8,0 2 12 (12) —Delium, 8.0 3 Scratched: Palmyra. Won by half a length; same between second and third. Time, 1.14 3-5.
