Charged with haying posted offensive packets, !Dr. Stanley Parker, of Coleorton, was fined £lO, with £4 Os 3d costs, for what he described as “a feeble effort to defend himself against the Income Tax Commissioners,” by addressing letters to them “Chief i Bloodhound, Income Tax Racket Blackmail and Persecution Department.”
