REARMAMENT PLANS.
PROVISION BY BRITAIN. IMPOSING PROGRAMME LONDON, July 19. The provision of 2000 new aeroplanes, 40 new warships, 20,000 machine-guns and thousands of tanks, it is reported, will be the chief features of the British rearmament plans for 1938. Steps will be taken, also, to strengthen the bases at Gibraltar, Malta and Aden.
