WORKERS’ COMPENSATION. (Per Press Association.) WELLINGTON, July 29. Provision for the setting up of workers’ compensation medical committees for the examination of workers applying for compensation is contained in regulations issued with the Gazette tonight. The regulations provide that the employers shall pay any reasonable expenses incurred by 7 a worker submitting himself to the committee when required to do so by 7 the employer. The following 7 committee has been set up for Christchurch (any three to he selected by the employer when he requires a worker to submit himself for examination; otherwise by the worker) : Dr. W. M. Cotter, Dr. P. Stanley Foster, Dr. C. T Hand Newton, and Dr. R. H. Quentin Baxter.
