AUSTRALIAN WOMEN WIN. (Received This Day, 10 a.m.) LONDON, July 28. The Australian women cricketers defeated Surrey by 103 runs. In. the first innings Australia scored 222 for nine and declared (Miss Holmes 55, Miss B. Peden 31, Miss Deane not out 45). Miss Hide took three wickets for 48 runs, Miss Turner four for 26. Surrey in the first innings scored 119 (Miss Child 25, Miss Hide 26). Miss Flaherty took five wickets for 31 runs. Five thousand spectators watched the match.
