MR NASH DUE ON AUGUST 12.

Plans are being made for receptions to the Minister for Finance and Marketing (the Hon. W. Nash) when he reaches Auckland on August 12. Should the Mataroa, the vessel on which Mr Nash is travelling, reach Auckland in the morning, it is likely that a civic reception will bo tendered to the Minister at the Town Hall shortly after noon. The Auckland Labour Representation Committee proposes to arrange a social function in the evening. It is hoped that tlie Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) will attend this gathering.
