AUSTRALIAN WOMEN’S TOUR. (Received This Day, 10.15 a.m.) LONDON, July 26. The Australian women’s cricket team won the match against the 1934 English women’s team by eight wickets. The Home Eleven in their first innings scored 91 and in their second scored 170 (Miss McLagen 93). Miss Antonio took three wickets for 35, Miss Dean four for 24. The Australians in their first innings scored 206 (Miss Antonio 70). Miss Taylor took two wickets for 35, Miss Hide three for 73. In their second innings they scored 57 for two; Miss Spier took two wickets for 19.
