Rogers, the Acting.'Prime Minister informed a Labour rdelegato that there, would be no conscription in Canada, but there would be. a system of registration to distinguish slackers. He also promised the regulation of food, ..prices, and !added: "The proposal' to nationalise in Canada the munition factories is too ! late, as advices from London state j that no more Canadian munitions will be required after the present contracts I are complete, as Britain has enough now to win the war."
