ANGLO-DANISH AGREEMENT.
A SUCCESSFUL MEASURE

At a meeting of the Industrial Council, the chairman said that since tho Anglo-Danish agreement had been signed in November, 1915, only 500,000 i kroners' worth of goods had been smuggled or illegally exported, while during tho same period 500,000,000 kroners' worth had been imported. This was proof of the efficacy of tho i jagreiemont. : A kroner is equal to Is l^d.
