DISTRESS IN AUSTRIA
/(Australian and N.Z. Cable Service.) j BEHNE, October 7. Austrq-Hungary is calling up A 5 classes that have hitherto been exempt from military service. Many thousands who were formerly rejected as totally uniit have joined their regimezits. Men between the ages of 45 and 50 have been drafted to the auxiliary Berviccs, but have been notified that sooner or later they will go on active service, to the front* AI! men not actually crippled 113:1 to the age of 44 have been sent to the front.
