It is believed that the crew have taken to the lifeboats. . j An unconfirmed report states that another British steamer, thb Strathearn, was also attacked. A wireless message states that the. 1!53 hold up the American steamer Kansas, bound, from New York to Boston, examined her ..papers, and allowed her to proceed. The Kansas later received a wireless call from the Westpoint.
