THE WEATHER.
Inn weather yesterday was.very hot j-and ''dose.'' The night was fine, and tour degrees of frost was registered. ; To-day has also been hot, the maximum reading of the thermometer being 66.(5 degrees in the shade. There has been , wind Irom the north-west. The Government Meteorologists forecast .to-day was as follows:—The indications are for northerly winds prevailing and freshening, with increasing hasjo and cloudiness. Glass fall.-
