Tin 1 weather during the-last- 24 hours has been fine, though to-day has been somewhat cloudy. Four degrees of frost was registered during the night, and the maximum reading.of the thermometer to-day was 55.7 degrees i» the- shade. The Government Meteorologist* forecast to-day was as follows: — The indications are for easterly moderate \ to north, and freshening. Expect dull weather, with much mist and fog in ■ parts. Rain probable. Barometer , falling.
