HAYWARD'S PICTURES.

The " Seven-Sisters," which-is said to be an exquisite portrayal of rwhnn-tic-vyouth, will bp screened nt His Majesty's Theatre this evening. The story is of Mic-i (Marguerite Clark), the fourth'daughter in a family of seven, all girls. While away at a convent being educfited she steals out at night and attends a masked ball, where she moots .a lieutenant in tno army, who'immediately falls in love. The ball over, Mi-i returns to her room by means of a roye ladder, and on stepping through the window ,is greeted by., .the Mother Superior, who immediately expels her. She goes to the man she has just met and borrows money enough to return home. The lieutenant follows her. and on ..asking her hand in marriage runs xip against the local custom which forbids a younger daughter to be married before her older sisters. He makes a wager .of three kisses with Mici that he will speedily have her older sisters married, and immediately starts Vathering his marriageable friends about him. That which follows is extremely amusing, there are numerous mix-ups, the -wrong men fall in love with the wrong girls. The atmosphere is cleared and the picture closes wjth four happy weddings. A good supporting programme will be screened, including an official war.film, illustrating the wonderful organisation of the lloval Army Medical Corps, and showing- how carefully the wounded are tended: at the front. Interesting semes'in Switzerland and tlu« Patho Gnz-ott^ will also be shown. "
