Tho enrolling offices throughout the Commonwealth wore busy to-day registering the first batches of men--the A's and B's—between the ages of -21 and 35 called up to-'join the military forces under the recent proclamation Everywhere there was an excellent response, and tho proceedings Vvero marked by choarful. good ,humour.. The balance of the eligibles will, bewailed alphabetically to tho 16th, inst,,/ when the last batch will bo- enrolled.
