HAWfiRA, October 8. i Phillip .Arthur Jane* married, aged 38, was. found hanging by a rope from a bedstead. Life was extinct. WELLINGTON, October 8. During the passage, of. the steamer Waihomo from San Francisco to Wellington, a. seaman named It. H. Oweiij 30 years of age, was lost overboard. The accident occurred on. Sunday, when tKe ste-amor was 160 miles north of Now Zealand. The deceased had been accustomed to sun-bathing in the I tropics, and -it is assumed that be had a. touch of sunstroke and fell over-: hoard.
