MR GERARD'S VISIT.
A CAUSE OF KEEN INTEREST
-COPENHAGEN, September 30. ' There is much speculation as to the reason for Mr Gerard's visit to America.
Tho " Politiken " believes that it if due to Germnny!s decision to renew the unsparing use of submarines, and that Mr Gerard desires a personal discussion on the question with Presided Wilson and Mr Lansing.
