SAVE THE I.AMRS. To a large extent your prosperity and that of the Dominion depends upon this. Read what other thrifty Farmers do, and try JOSEPH FORD'S SCOUR AND LUNG-WORM MIXTURE. North' Bank, Rafcaia, Mr F. Ferriman, Aehburton. Dear Sir, —In March last I drenched about SWO lambs, which were dying of Lung Worm, and I found tho lambs improved wonderfully and I did not lose any after drenching. In August last I bought 100 ewe hoggets, which were very low in condition, •nd they were very bad with Limy Worm. *I drenched them one doae, and it stopped all coughing and they are doing splendidly. , I have carried lambs homo .expecting them to die, and have given them a dose of Lung Warm Mixture for experiment a»d they have been walking about in the morning. I have great faith in Ford's Mixture., and recommend it to all sheepbroeders. Yours faftlhftilry, (Sgd.) JOHN SOWDEN, Jun. Ashburton Agents: Farmers' Co-operative Association and National Mortgage and Agency Go. AVOID DAGGING By Using JOSEPH FORD'S DRENCH. Copy of a Circular Issued in Canterbury re Dagging: Tho Freezing Companies regret having to draw attention to t,ha condition in which many lines of sheep and lambs are sent to saleyards and freezing works, owing to the growers having neglected to hare same properly dagged or crutched. This matter is a serious one, and it hot only affects tho animal in a live state but, nlso prevents the carcases from being dressed wrfcn the finish and cleanliness which are an absolute neoesity for placing them on the Home Market to the best advantage. In spite of every care stains are bound to disfigure'such carcases and no amount of wiping down will remedy this condition, as they cannot avoid, in many cases, injuring the pelts, and so inourring fines. In view of the reasonable remonstrances ot tho slaughtermen against being compelled to kill daacv-sheep, and Jambs and also of,the considerable discredit and . monetary loss occasioned by the necessarily imperfect dressing of such carcases, Wfc hereby give notice on behalf of the Canterbury Frozen Meat Company, Ltd.. aaid the Christchurch Meat Comnanv. Ltd., that any such sheep, will be drafted at the works and rejected. THE CANTERBURY FROZEN MEAT CO.. LTD. THE DAIRY PRODUCE EXPORT CO.. LTD.
