PENALTY FOR SMUGGLING.
HEAVY SENTENCES
COPENHAGEN, September 28. A Gorman merchant named Voigt, representing a German rubber factory, aud three others havo been sentenced to 120 days' imprisonment each, and fined £17,500 sterling for smuggling rubber into Germany in herring barrels.
