PARIS, September 28,
The onemy strongly attacked our new positions from Bouchavesnes to southward of the 'Bois l'Abbo Farm.
The French, with a brilliant counteroffensive, threw back the assaulting waves in disorder and with- ; heavy
losses. We appreciably progressed oastward and south-east of Rancourt, and penetrated the Saint Pierre Vaast Wood.
