DUNEDIN, Sept..27. Fat Cattle—22-1 were yarded. The quality was fairly good, and competition was failly keen. Prices wore about, tho same as those- of last week, iiest bullocks £17 10s. to £20,-extra prime £23, medium £15 to £16 10s, light and unfinished £12 .to £14, best cows and heifer; £12 10s to £14 10s, extra prime £17 12s Cd, medium 19 10s to £11 10s, others £8. i J''at SiK-cp.—2528 were penned,' chiefly light-weight wethers. Competition was good. A fair proportion ot light and "medium quality was secured by graziers. Prices were about the same as last week's. Best wethers 35s to 38s, extra 42s 9d, medium to good 129s to 335. others 27(5, G bast ewes-28s |to 32s 6d, extra heavy 395, others 1 265. , • . Lambs—Three now season s lambs were forward, realising up to 3-3s. ' Pigs—A small yarding of fats sold under keen competition at last week's rates. Otip. exceptionally heavy chopper made 191b. A largo yarding of stores met a good'sale. Primo heavy baconers 100>:, good 90s, best porkers 60s to 70s. others 50s, slips 355, suckers 18s to 265.
