BRITISH OFFICERS DETAINED W
AMERICA.
(Received September 28, 9.30 a.m.) NEW YORK,' September 27.
.-Major -Arthur;-Biimphwys .-md Lieutenant Hugh Loviek,. who were en route to Canada, .wore-detained- by tho immigration authorities at Ellis Island because they were iwgularly serving the belligerent forces. The officers were released after tho British Embassy had protested.
