If this aspect of the question affected tlio recent .poll, I think it is up to the. Mayor and Mr W. H. Robinson (chairman- of Hampst-end Town Board) to state their views on -the matter, that rational deductions can ho made as to the wisdom or otherwise •of Haiupstoad's action. ■
