LONDON, September 26. Tho German Press is amazed at Britain's quickness in raising her citizen army and the continued influx of Dominion troops, and is pointing out that these factors are responsible for the terrific force of the Sommo offensive. Tho papers warn the Germans not to expect a speedy termination of the war, but to prepare for yet greater sacrifices to save the Fatherland.
Tho "Frankfurter. Zeitung" has admitted-'that Germany is now using Turkey for Germany's defence, ' and draws a parallel between the relations between Turkey and Germany and those obtaining; throughout the British Empire. "Wo erroneously thought that the Dominions would leave the Empire, but they did not want to bo free. We must establish similar political relations bptween Turkey and Germany as obtain between England and tho Dominions."
