SALONICA, September 2£. M. Venizelos has gone to Crete. Later he will visit Mitylene, Chios, and Samos.
He will issue a proclamation to the Cretans, placing himself at the "head |of the national ...movement. To provide a last opportunity for the Crowr* and the Government "to place them* selves in line with the majority of the Greek people, there will be no declara* tion'of the dethronement of King Constantine. M. Venizolos will call a genera] mobilisation of the Cretans for the purpose of national defence.
. Leonidas Emboricos, a shipping millionaire, has placed his whole fortuno at the disposal of the national movement.
