800 PRISONERS TAKEN.

The High Commissioner reports:— A French official report states:— We reached the borders of Fricourt, taking the village in the night.

We penetrated Combles cemetery, reaching the borders of the village, one detachment establishing itself in the south-west trench and making prisoners of a German company. ■
