A STRONG DEDOUBT ALSO
CAPTURED.
The High Commissioner reports :— ■ ■ '-LONDON, "September 26/ A British official message states that Gambles was entered, the British overcoming the enemy's resistance there. The enemy's losses were severe. After yesterday's capture, we counted 1509 prisoners and much war material, and more prisoners are arriving. A strong redoubt between tes Boeufs and Guendecourt was captured and the garrison made prisoners.
