| The Amborley Racing Club's moeti ing was hold yesterday in fine weather, nnd with a. large attendance. The special train -from Christchurch was crowded with excursionists, while many people made the trip by road from the city, in addition to which all parts of^ North Canterbury were well repre-* sented. Good fields were seen out in most of the events, and there was some interesting sport. The totalisator investments amounted to £9321. Final results:—

Welter Handicap*—Sir Hamilton 1, San Sebastian 2, Banian 3. Won by a heacl; a neck between second and third. Time, lmin 43 3-ssec.

Kowai Trot Handicap.—Galindo Lou 1, Gold Drift 2, Nordica 3: Won easing.up-by three lengths; sis lengths between second and third. Time, 3min 35 l-ssec.

Hack Welter Handicap.—Ail Serene 1, Sir Malt 2, Riga 3. Won by a length; two lengths between second and third. Time, lmin 30 3-sscc. .

Mount Grey Stakes.—The Toff 1, Bimeter 2. Won by a .length. Time. Imiu 28 2-osec.

Wattle Handicap.—Pyjama 1, Koesian 2, Kaminoho 3. Won by two lengths; five lengths between second and third. Time, lmin 15sec.
