More persons were killed by motorcars' in the United States, between January 1 and September 1, according to tho ofißcial police records, than were slain during tiie- same period in Great Britain by Zeppelins. The total motorcar deaths were 10$0, hnd the number of injured totalled over 8000. Chicago heads the list with 205 killed, and Now York is next 1 with 158. ' . ':.. ■
