WAR PENSION. mm . : TOTALS TO DATE. (Per Press Association). I i WELLINGTON, September 25. Sitting in Wellington last week, tho "War Pensions .Board dealt with 163 eases—lll new claims and 52 renewals. Of the new claims, -19 were irom soldiers, .and were dealt with as fol lows: —Nine were granted pensions, 83 wore granted allowances, live were doe!inod., and two were' adjourned. Of the remaining claims, which were from dependents, 41 were granted pensions and eight were given allowances, 10 worn doc-lined,'and three adjourned. Of 52.applications for renewal, IM were extended for a further period (15 being put on final payment). In 12 cases itwas decided that payment should oeasc i forthwith, and two wore adjourned for I further information. Three cases wore conwrty-d to permanent pensions.
