"FIVE NIGHTS."

The leading feature to be screened at His Majesty's Theatre this evening is entitled " Five- Nights," being a motion-picture representation of- the book by Victoria. Cross. it •is the story of a young artist who moots a Chinese woman named Sukco. He attempts to make love-to her, but is attacked by her husband, and goes away, promising never to return. He ijocs to London, and meets Viola, his cousin, and falls' in love with her. For a time sho acts as his model, but in the course of time he is compelled to employ another woman as model. This new woman makes love to the artist (Trevor), and Viola leaves. Some time later -she returns to find Trevor halfcraaed and in despair at losing her. She goes to him gladly, and they live contentedly until owe day Trevor finds a note saying that she is 1-oaving him, I)ut will return at the end of the year. Trevor, greatly disturbed at her desertion of him. goes abroad, and in the course of events again meets th? little Chinese girl Suzee at Chinatown, San Francisco. Hop Leo finds the girl staying at a hotel with Trevor, and : stabs her. Trevor rashes in, and the Chinaman knifes him in tho shoulder, but is shot dead. The artist returns to, London and' strives to dispel the ! cloud over his life. In tho course of time Viola return's, .snd they forget the past in the happiness of re-union.
