With a view to correcting misconuep tions, it is officially explained that it it, not intended to disturb the system of dealn*!; with the home supplies of coal under the Price of Coal Limitation Act through the Board of.Trade. Moreover, the export and bunker business will continue to be controlled by tho various committees under Government direction-, and supplies for France, Russia, and Italy will proceed in accordance with the existing arrangements. Lord Milner's enquiries lead him to the view that there was need for closer co-oporation between the committees, but the Governmentdoes not contenipla-t'i any change in the system.
