(Received September 23, 9.25 a.m.) LONDON, September 22.; Mr Martin Donohoc, the '' Daily Chronicle's" correspondent, writing from Bucharest, states that the Allies' gunfire frustrated the ■Bulgarians' attempts to dig-in in the Dobrudja. , Tjne enemy wero disheartened at their recent failures and did not make fresh infantry assaults.
