MORE SERIOUS THAN EVER
DRIFTING TO A FINAL CRISIS

LONDON, September 21
Mr J. M. Jeffries (correspondent of the " Daily Mail "), telegraphing from Athens, states that the situation is more serious than ever, and was drifting to the final crisis.
It is unlikely'that Franco will recognise the new Cabinet, and it is understood that the Russian Minister has received instructions that Russia is not interested in the Greek Kingdom.
The British attitude is oagerly awaited in Government circles, because it is realised that Britain will cast the die. *;
Meanwhile, the Cabinet.is desperately attempting to win the Allies' cotf fidence.
