HAYWARD'S PICTURES.
There was a good attendance at His Majesty's Theatre last evening when the final episodes in the big serial film "The Million Dollar Mystery," was the chief attraction. In these final episodes^ of what has been a fine series, the" mystery which has been baffling Ashburton picture patrons., for some months back is all cleared up. The concluding pictures portray some vivid j and realistic incidents leading up to the capture of the conspirators, who are taken in a cave. • Altogether the picture has been one of the most mystifying and the most interesting that has been seen in Ashburton for some time. "The Spirit of Christmas" is the title of a, pretty drama intermingled with pathos and humour. "Tillio the Terrible Typisto" is the title of a clever comedy' showing the trials of the lovers of a pretty typiste. Other pictures were "From the Pearl of the Baltic Sea" and "The Pathe Gazette."
