THE STRANDED ANTIOPE.
DUNEDIN, September 19
Insurances on the barque Antiope, stranded in Bluff Harbour, are:—On the hull, £3750; freight, £2000; cargo, £5550. The chief risk is held by Lloyd's, the balance being distributed amongst New Zealand and Australian offices. It is understood that the proposed salvage operations have ceased in the meantime, in view of the fact, that the owners have abandoned the vessel to the underwriters.
