THE BALKANS.
THE CAPTURE OF FLORINA.
GENERAL CORpONNIER'S STRATEGY.
(Received September 20, 9.30 a.m.) . ATHENS, September 19.
General, Cordinnier captured Fiorina. He secretly prepared for three days, 100 motor cars nightly bringing troops to concentration . points, completely deceiving the enemy, despite innumerable spies. The attack quickly drove in the Bulgarian resistance, light artillery following and creating disorder, while a night pursuit', at the utmost speed, prevented the Bulgarians dig-ging-in anywhere..
The defeat is degenerating into a rout. The pro-Bulgarian and Turkish population fled with the troops, increasing the. terrible confusion. General Bejadiofu adopted, without effect, the German trick of firing a cannon at the fugitives. .. •-.■
Fiorina is undamaged. Bulgarian prisoners: complain of the German officers' brutality.
