STATE CONTROL OF COAL INDUSTRY.

The Manchester " Guardian " States that the Government purposes taking over the coal industry. Profits, prices, and wages will not be affected, but the Government will control the; distribution at home and the export, and compel neutral ships coaling at British ports to bring cargoes from specified ports on return voyages. *
