ANOTHER SHIPPING,ACCIDENT.
A* SCOW CAPSIZED
AUCKLAND, September 19. The Collector of Customs has received the following wire:—"Large scow bottom-up just out of "\\[hangaptira; twin screw; both propellers unhurt. S&nd a strong tug at once and save the lot." The collector has approached the Harbour Board to send a tug. . .
At Rakaia { on Saturday afternoon, while backing a cart, Mr George Ford moo with a eerious..accident. The cart tipped up, and lie was thrown by the shafts right over the cart, and fell on his head on the edge of a tank, sustaining a deep cut. He was attended to by the doctor, and is now progressing favourably.
