A GROWING TOTAL
The latest rottirns ol! receipts from the. sale of War Loan Certificates were those made up to September 9, anil the amount received up till that date was approximately £82/5,000,, says the "Dominion." The wisdom of the Government in extending the term for this section of the War Loa.n is shown by the fact that in the first, nine days of September the amount received was £150,000. The cash received for certificates up till Au£w;t 31, the date on which the main loan closed, was £069,538.
