'tanks' returned, the crows enthusiastically' compjw-ftd notes of -theijr achievement on the' Somme. "They described the device as. a 'harvester mowirig down everything in its "path.' A staff-officer spoke of 'the machine as ' stopping to browse at the edge of the wood before- advancing.'
" One hundred Prussians surrendered in a body to one machine crew."
Mr Palmer adds:—"lt is generally agreed that the new Juggernaut has made good."
