MR H. G. WELLS'S PREDICTION

(Received September'lß; 12.55 p.m.) NEW YORK, September 17. Mr H. G. Wells, writing in the NewYork "World," predicts that the war will end in June, that the German line in ihe West will give way before November, that the Allies will insist upon reparation and an indemnity to Belgium, the surrender of Constantinople to Russia and of Aisace to France, and the dismemberment of Austria in the interests of Italy and others.
