The Central News Agency states that unless the Parliamentary Committee of the Trades Union Congress obtains the Government's assurance regarding the control .of food supplies or the fixing of maximum prices, united labour action will be taken for a uniform advance in wages. It is asserted that 11,500,000 workers are behind the movement, with- the support of the trades . already benefiting by advanced wages.
