The Governor's Tour.
I IXK JfKESa ASSOCIATION. Nelson, February 17. The Governor and party, including ! Countess Glasgow, Ladies Augusta and i Alice Boyle, Duchess.of Buckingham and i Chandos, Miss Wolfs Murray, Hon E. i Boyle, Colonel Patrick Boyle, Mr JB>. , Clayton, and Mr George Gillington arrived by special train at seven. The 1 Navals formed a guard of honor, and H Battery fired a salute. The party were 1 received by the Mayor and Councillors, and a procession, iv which the Friendly > Societies and Fire Brigade joined, escorted the vice-regal party to Church Hill, where addresses from the Corporation and Friendly' Societies were presented and' acknowledged by His Excellency. The Countess and Duchess were each- presented with bouquets. There were about j four thousand people present, and the proceedings wero marked by evidences of loyalty. The Governor expressed himself highly pleased with the cordiality of the welcome, specially thanking the Mayor.
