SUSPECTED MURDER.
Sydney, February 12. The Rev. Mr Smith, pastor of the Australian Church, is missing. _ He has for sometime past been in the habit of visiting the domain at night for the purpose of expressing sympathy with thoEe resorting there. There are signs of a struggle, and as a stick and papers belonging to Mr Smith have been found, it is feared that lift has been murdered.
FLOODS IN NEW SOUTH WALES.
The Clarence river is in flood, and parts of Grafton are inundated. It is feared that the crops in low lying districts have been swept away, which means the loss of hundred of thousands of pounds
